This course was created by the American Education Legal Group Team as
a supplement to content based bar examinations. There is no question that
a content based bar review course is necessary. However, it is of little
value if your vehicle to passing the bar examination does not have a GPS
unit; namely a BAR EXAM STRATEGY; especially since it is a timed
examination. A GPS is of great value in a variety of situations. A sailor, for
example, would never imagine sailing without one. Airline pilots rely on
GPS for their very survival. Most of us have them on our telephones and
So then why would you consider the journey of taking the most difficult
examination in your lifetime without one? A GPS provides a roadmap to
that journey. You input such factors as:
This book addresses many subjects contained in your GPS. And what isyour downside? You studied too hard? You passed too easy? You studiedsmart instead of hard? Even if it helps you with just one essay question orone performance test, it is worth the investment. Most bar examinees thatdo not pass the bar examination just miss it by a few percentage points. This course can make that difference. You will hear friends and familymembers wish you Good Luck. Luck is where preparation meetsopportunity. You have earned the opportunity to take the bar examination. We will help you with the preparation. “You alone can make your dreamstake flight. Just consider us your flight school.”
The examinee who fails the bar tends to study just as many hours as theexaminee who passes the bar. We know it is not who is the smartestperson in the room. We have all known enough lawyers to know that. “Ifthey can pass, so can I” should be the examinee mantra. In fact, mostexaminees who fail do so by just a few percentage points. The difference isnot content. All examinees take the same bar review courses and encirclethemselves with hundreds of pages of bar review content. Rather, it is timemanagement, content organization and presentation that makes thedifference. And let’s face it, the weak link in all major bar review coursescosting twenty times more than this one is that they do not specialize ina strategy. They specialize in content. They do not provide a game plan orroad map to passing the bar. They do not provide a GPS to Passing theBar. We do. Welcome to our world. Most students who fail the bar exam doso by just a few points. So if this helps you pass just one question, isn’t itworth it? And for $99.00, can you really afford not to take this most difficultjourney without a Navigator GPS?
Learn the language of law. You will be communicating with a grader who is a legal scholar. They do not grade for the money. Trust me on that. Those of you that are bi-lingual realize the advantage you have over everyone else. Every time you are introduced to a new phrase, begin to incorporate it into your essay and performance answers. Write like a jurist. A jurist is the quintessential legal scholar. They take the facts and issues as given to them in counsel briefs and apply the law to those facts. They do not arrive at a conclusion until they have argued both sides of the issue. It has always been exciting to read the Majority Opinion and Minority Opinion both of which are always well written. Quote them whenever you can. Remember who is grading your paper. For example, if you are discussing specific intent, state a line from Learned Hand who said, “even a dog knows the difference between being stumbled over and being kicked.”
IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE BOOK FOR ANY REASON;PLEASE NOTIFY US, AND WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A FULL REFUND. PLEASE DO NOT RE-PRODUCE THIS BOOK. IF WE CATCH YOU, WE WILL REPORT YOU TO THE BAR. MORE IMPORTANTLY, IT IS BAD KARMA THAT YOU DO NOT NEED IN YOUR LIFE PRIOR TO A BAR EXAMINATION.
